Add RQ to Your Phone
RQ is a web app. You can put its icon on your Home Screen and open it like a regular app.
iPhone or iPad
- Open RQ in Safari and sign in.
- Tap the Share button.
- Choose Add to Home Screen.
- Confirm the name and tap Add.
- Open RQ from the new Home Screen icon.
On iOS and iPadOS 16.4 or later, Home Screen web apps can support web notifications and an unread badge on the app icon. When RQ asks for notification permission, choose Allow if you want those alerts.
Android
- Open RQ in Chrome and sign in.
- Open Chrome’s menu (usually the three-dot menu).
- Choose Install app or Add to Home screen. The wording can vary by device.
- Confirm the installation.
- Open RQ from the Home Screen icon.
Android can show an app-icon dot or badge when RQ has an active notification and your launcher/device allows notification badges.
Notifications and unread badges
While RQ is open, it checks for new team messages and updates the unread count automatically. Supported installed web apps can also show an unread badge on the RQ icon.
Secure connection required: App installation, device notifications, and app-icon badging rely on secure HTTPS. If your browser shows Not secure, those features may not be available until the site’s security certificate is corrected.
